I would like my children to grow up in a world in which they have all kinds of neighbors, and the differences matter less than the similarities.  I have two gay brothers, both of whom are dedicated members of our community (we live only a few blocks apart), accomplished professionals and wonderful people.  They are neighbors we are lucky to have!
