Providing the photographic images for "Gay Neighgbor.org" has been a pleasure and a privilege for me. At my core I am an active, involved, outspoken and politically active individual whose ideals are important to me and to this country. I am still one of the few that believe that one person can make a difference and in this case I have the honor of working with a group of like-minded individuals. I have made my living for the past 6 years working for national motorcycle publications as a writer and photographer as well as working in Milwaukee with my boyfriend, JP Perstiza, who owns a sign shop called Digital Magic.

I am not just a gay rights supporter. Someone once said, \"Why do we have to recycle the old conflict so many times: first we fight about slavery, then segregation, then gender, and now sexual orientation? Sexual identity is on the horizon. Why can't people look at the phrase 'liberty and justice for all' and simply accept out that 'all' means 'all.' " That sums up my philosophy on inclusion for all humans. Basic rights are basic rights and I believe that love is never wrong. As a woman, as a person, as a human we all must stand up for what is right and by giving what I can to support not only causes that directy affect me but fighting for the equality of all people, I feel that I am improving myself.

I strongly beleive in the right for all people to marry and share the same rights afforded to all. I sincerely hope that my contribution to "Gay Neighbor.org" helps open even a few minds to the individuals and families that are being discriminated against.
