We have a wonderful life. We have been together for more than 12 years and are mommies to a beautiful baby boy. We have fabulous friends who love us. Our families have various degrees of acceptance of us. We don't live in a very "gay" neighborhood but we are not the only LGBT family on our block. We are out everywhere we go and that is a blessing. Once you come out there is a lot less for people to make up rumors about. Our child is the joy of our life. We wish Wisconsin offered laws to better protect him - like the ability for lesbian couples to adopt one another's children.
