I have had the honor of knowing and loving quite a few lovely humans who are members of the LBGT community. My hope is simple....as simple as most LBGT people's hopes are.....for them to be treated humanely.  For them to have the opportunity to be judged by the content of their character rather than be judged based upon the simplistic and naive notion that the depth of a human being's soul is best understood through their choice in a sexual partner.  I don't believe all members of the LBGT community are stellar humans, fantastic parents, and exceptional spouses....however, I do believe they should be afforded every right and every opportunity to flourish, to realize their mistakes, to reach their full potential, to know love, to feel worthy, to feel secure, to honor commitment, and most importantly, to feel whole.  My wishes are the same for them as they are for me, and every other person.  It does no one justice to treat others unjustly.
