Your Gay Neighbor - Jason and I are both gay best friends. We've known each other since we were 17, and had always discussed having children together as friends. 2 1/2 years ago, we had our daughter Emily and her twin brother Brady, who passed away shortly after he was born. Both children were born with severe health problems. Today, Emily is doing great though she has mild cerebral palsy. As best friends, members of the gay community, and Buddhists to boot, we are raising our children in a small town in Lake Country. We are out to our neighbors in all aspects, and for the most part, we've had positive experiences. We see every day as an opportunity for education and community building.
