As I was driving back from Racine, WI on hwy 32, I noticed the Gay Neighbor billboard.  Instantly a smile came to my face and I thought of how far we have come in our nation.  My partner and I live in a wonderful neighborhood where we feel comfortable to be ourselves.  We are accepted by the people who surround us as just another couple.  A hello or goodbye hug or kiss never strains an eye or a comment of disrespect.

Although, I am not naive to realize that others (even our neighborhood) have sections of ignorance and hatefulness.  With your efforts and stories of acceptance, let's all hope for peaceful tomorrows!
