I hope the Gay Neighbor project opens doors for the transgender community. People should all get a better understanding of the LGBT community too. Please treat everyone the same. I know that isn't always easy. Keep it real. Be honest about your feelings. I am happy to answer questions about myself. I like to sing and I like to go bowling – what do you like to do?

If you would like to know more about the LGBT community come to events, be a friend, or loan me a cup of sugar. Maybe you would like to go out with me and see a show?

I wish it were easier for gay and transgender people to get jobs. People are not accepting of transgender people in the workplace. Consider that some people's parents gave them a name that does not match their gender. It costs money to legally change a name and without employment they cannot afford those luxuries.

My family and neighbors are wonderful to me, I hope the world can grow to feel the same way.
