hope the Gay Neighbor project helps to educate people about rights we don’t have and ways we are treated unfairly. I hope people will learn more about correct terminology for different people like lesbians, gay or transgender. Being gay isn’t a lifestyle. Surfing or driving a motorcycle may be a lifestyle. But being gay is a sexual identity that we are born with.

I hope everyone who is gay or transgender will come out. We all need to be respectful of one another and follow the golden rule. I am out because I don’t feel I need to hide and I don’t want to live a double life anymore.
