Ask if organizations you support include non-discrimination policies in their mission statements.

Support gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses.

Let your friends, family and co-workers know that you find gay jokes offensive.

Go see a film at the local LGBT film festival

Let your children spend time with classmates from gay families by inviting their kids over to play.

Encourage your company to adopt domestic partner benefits for employees.

Identify yourself as a straight ally to the gay community.
