• Stop by your gay neighbors
house and borrow a ladder or cup of sugar.
• Ask if organizations you
support include non-discrimination policies in their mission statements.
• Support gay-owned and gay-friendly
businesses.
• Let your friends, family
and co-workers know that you find gay jokes offensive.
• Go see a film at the
local LGBT
film festival
• Let your children spend
time with classmates from gay families by inviting their kids
over to play.
• Encourage your company
to adopt domestic partner benefits for employees.
• Identify yourself as a straight
ally to the gay community.
• Locally support these
efforts by getting involved with the Cream
